The purpose of the SUR TRANSLATION SUPPORT PROGRAMME shall be to foster the translation of culturally significant classic or contemporary literary works of any genre, both fiction and non-fiction, which address topics that are representative of the national identity, as an effective means for international dissemination of the traditions, ideas and values of Argentina. It is important to note that to date, the SUR programme has approved 1,652 works translated into 50.

Applications will be accepted until August 22, 2025 and approved works must be published by November 30, 2026.
