This Consulate can assist in the process of donating goods to entities located in Argentina. In all cases, the receiving organization must be one of the following:

1. National state;
2. Provincial state or municipalities;
3. Centralized or de-centralized organizations of the aforementioned;
4. Civil associations, foundations and other non-profit institutions;
5. Religious organizations that are registered at the Secretariat of Worship in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This process is free and requires an appointment.

█ ██ ███ █████ REQUIREMENTS FOR DONATIONS (POINTS 4 AND 5)

• They need to be registered at the Dirección General Impositiva (DGI) in Argentina, dependant from the Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP), needing to have an IVA and income tax exemption, thus requiring a CUIT N°.
• They need to be registered at the Dirección General de Aduana (DGA) in Argentina, dependant from the Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP), as importer/exporter (registration can be done online through the website of the AFIP with fiscal account -clave fiscal- ).

 

 

█ ██ ███ █████ PROCEDURE (POINTS 4 AND 5)

1) The donor needs to present a Donation Certificate (see template at the end of this page) addressed to the receiving party. This needs to be done on a letterhead of the donor and needs to be signed by its representative. The certificate must be in spanish.

We recommend submitting the draft certificate through our E-Mail for a review before initiating any dispatch of the goods.

2) The goods to be donated need to be listed in an annex to the aforementioned certificate and have to contain the following information (description is listed here in spanis):

 

MEDICINE: Principio activo, cantidad, tipo de presentación del envase y fecha de vencimiento. Esta última debe tener un vencimiento de al menos seis (6) meses posteriores a la fecha de arribo al país.

HOSPITAL SUPPLIES: Descripción, cantidad, tipo de presentación del envase y fecha de vencimiento o de su esterilización, fabricante y/o Nº de lote. Los elementos de uso hospitalarios deben tener un vencimiento de al menos un (1) año posterior a la fecha de arribo al país.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, MACHINES AND ELECTRONICS (USED): : Debe constar marca, modelo, Nº de serie. En este caso deben estar acompañados del certificado de buen funcionamiento técnico de origen y certificado de desinfección o esterilización, según el caso. El equipamiento nuevo debe tener su respectivo Manual de Uso. En todos los casos se requerirá fotografía de los equipos.

NOTA: Este tipo de productos no debe tener más de diez (10) años de antigüedad.

FOOD: Descripción, cantidad, tipo de presentación del envase y fecha de vencimiento. Estos productos deben tener un vencimiento de al menos seis (6) meses posteriores a la fecha de arribo al país.

IMPORTANTE: las CARNES Y SUS DERIVADOS provenientes de EUROPA, ESTADOS UNIDOS Y CANADÁ tienen PROHIBIDO EL INGRESO AL PAÍS.

USED CLOTHES: conjuntamente con el listado de descripción, deberá adjuntarse, el correspondiente certificado de desinfección de origen, ambos visados por el Consulado Argentino. NOTA: La ropa usada sólo podrá ser recibida por el Estado Nacional, Provincial, Municipal y/o entidades religiosas que estén registradas en la Secretaría de Culto de la República Argentina. Las Fundaciones y Asociaciones Civiles sin fines de lucro no podrán recibirla.

COMPUTERS, MONITORS, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT: Marca, modelo, Nº de serie de cada elemento. Estos elementos necesitan ir acompañados de un certificado de buen funcionamiento si son usados.

NEW CLOTHES, SHOES AND TOYS: se requiere un detalle preciso de los elementos atento que es mercadería susceptible de requisitos especiales y debe solicitarse excepción ante la Secretaría de Industria Comercio y Mineria de la Nación Argentina.

GOODS NOT INCLUDED IN OTHER CATEGORIES: se sugiere tomar contacto con este Consulado a efectos de hacer la consulta a los organismos de control correspondientes a través de COMCA.

 

3) The certificate needs to processed and intervened in the Consulate. Please contact us by phone or E-Mail to obtain an appointment to present the final certificate, once it has been approved by the Consulate.

 

4) The Consulate will issue a note with digital signature that will be sent to the requesting party ofr its submission in Argentina.
