Travelling with minors

Minors of 13 years of age of any nationality who are travelling unaccompanied or without their parents or legal guardians require:

  1. A travel authorization: "Venia de Viaje" issued by the Argentine Consulate, or Alternatively, a travel authorization signed before a notary public, authenticated by Global Affairs Canada and legalized by this consulate.
  2. Minor's Birth Certificate (if not issued by Argentine authorities, certificate must have authenticated by Global Affairs Canada and legalized by this consulate).
  3. Valid Passport or travel document. 

All documentation must be presented in original. 

█ ██ ███ █████ EXIT ARGENTINA

Minors of 18 years of age, of any nationality, whose legal residence is in Argentina who are travelling without both parents, in order to exit the country require:

  1. A travel authorization: "Venia de Viaje" issued by the Argentine Consulate
  2. Minor's Birth Certificate (if not issued by Argentine authorities, certificate must have authenticated by Global Affairs Canada and legalized by this consulate)
  3. Valid Passport or travel documen
